Coimbatore-based Dr. P Jambulingam is a highly experienced Consultant Physician, now practicing at his private clinic in RS Puram, and also as a Visiting Consultant at Kurinji Hospital, Peelamedu.

Dr. Jambulingam joined the Government of Tamil Nadu Medical Service in 1976. He worked for 33 years in government hospitals and medical colleges, including 27 years as Teacher, Assistant Professor, Professor and Head of Department, before retiring in 2010.    

Dr. Jambulingam also has overseas experience, having spent five years practising in Iran and Saudi Arabia. Prior to that, he did his Junior Residency at JIPMER, Pondicherry (1975-76). 

Dr. Jambulingam completed his MBBS (1973) and MD in General Medicine (1983) from Coimbatore Medical College, Madras University. He was declared the Best Outgoing Student at the MBBS examination, and was awarded a Gold Medal in Medicine.
